From introducing you to the academic curriculum and career resources to building community and engaging in social activities, we ensure that you’re well prepared to make the most of what Haas has to offer. NSO is your chance to forge lasting connections with your diverse classmates and form what will be lifelong friendships.
New Student Orientation comprises a series of mandatory onboarding events designed for incoming students.
Mark your calendars - registration opens on June 3 and closes on July 5. Your attendance at NSO is mandatory, so please make the necessary arrangements to guarantee your participation.

What to do BEFORE New Student Orientation:
MBA life can be extremely busy, and we encourage you to prepare as much as you can before New Student Orientation begins. We strongly recommend arriving by July to find housing, purchase furniture, open a bank account and start to get settled in your new home.
Less tactically, we also recommend taking some time over the next few weeks to reflect on what you want to get out of your Haas experience and thus what sort of things you’ll focus your time on. Those who did this found it extremely worthwhile!
