Scholarships

Most scholarship decisions are announced at the time of admission. To confirm your scholarship status, please log into your scholarship portal. If you have not been selected as a recipient of a Berkeley Haas Scholarship at this time, your application remains open and should additional funding be made available and you’re selected, you will be notified via email.

There are a few supplemental scholarship opportunities that require supplemental action. These opportunities are open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and international students. If scholarship funding is a major factor in your decision-making process, we encourage you to apply for any applicable scholarships as early as possible — awards are limited and not guaranteed in later rounds.

Loan Options

Loans are sometimes a necessary option after pursuing scholarship opportunities. It is important that you research a variety of lenders before committing to one lender or loan.

U.S. Citizens & Permanent Residents

  • Federal Loans
U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for Federal Loans.
  • Private Loans
Private loans are another option for students and can be a good option to supplement Federal Loans. You may begin to apply for private loans in July.

International Students

  • Private Loans
Private loans are available for international students. However, you will need a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident co-signer to qualify. If you have access to a U.S. Citizen co-signer, you may begin to apply for private loans in July.
  • International Loans
Students without a U.S. co-signer who are ineligible for Federal Loans can apply for an alternative private loan. A few options are available with more coming to market each year.
