Haas has been very successful in helping internship-seekers land fantastic opportunities with top-notch investment banks. This is in no small part due to the efforts of CMG and the broader programming in place to support the process. I am very happy with the outcome of my internship search and decided to pay it forward by serving as a Peer Advisor during my second year. Upon graduation, I will be joining Evercore on the healthcare team.

My most valuable recruiting strategies were authentic networking and utilizing CMG to its fullest potential. I will be the first to admit that I don’t enjoy networking. However, I knew it was a necessary step to get consulting interviews, so I dove in head first and treated it as a learning opportunity. I signed up for all Haas-sponsored company coffee chats and also reached out to personal acquaintances working at my target companies. Before each coffee chat, I spent time on LinkedIn and the company website to develop targeted questions. It all worked out for me. I spent my summer at McKinsey and will return there upon graduation in 2023.
