Love live music?

The Greek Theater at UC Berkeley is less than a block away from Haas — hosting live summer concerts with lines out the door. We're a hot bed of live concerts from Golden Gate Park's Outside Lands to Napa's BottleRock festival. We're also home to the famous San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Opera.

Night at the museum?

San Francisco's got you covered. Take part in the city's vibrant arts and culture — with the SFMOMA, California Academy of Sciences, the Exploratorium, Legion of Honor and de Young Museum to name a few.

Avid runners

We've got plenty of full, half and relay marathons from Bay to Breakers to the Berkeley Half Marathon to the Oakland Marathon. And don't worry there's plenty of places to train in the meantime — take a scenic run down Frontage Road near the Berkeley Marina or a more rugged running adventure along the Strawberry Canyon Fire Trails right behind Haas.

For Foodies

We're just a short walk away from Berkeley's famous Gourmet Ghetto, a quirky neighborhood and culinary institution credited as the birthplace of California Cuisine. Be sure to check out another local staple, Off the Grid — a moving food truck market bringing live music, food and people together all over the Bay Area. There's always something new and delicious to try!

Get involved on campus with our annual Challenge for Charity — a series of MBA-led fundraisers (from student taught hip-hop classes to drum lessons and everything in between) designed to support local nonprofits in the area. Or checkout Boost@Berkeley Haas — our very own campus initiative helping high school students in the Bay Area go to college.

The legendary hillside vineyards of Napa Valley are a top destination for lovers of great wine, food and beautiful scenery. Just a 1.5 hour car trip.
